Looking for Art Challenges

This morning, I alternated between drinking coffee .. shoveling .. and looking online for new art challenges.

I LOVE Illustration Friday .. sigh .. but  .. I do NOT have the illustration or drawing skills to be able to .. recognizably .. create most of the challenges.

I need my art practice to be FUN for me to do – not to leave me feeling .. not good enough .. my ability to grow more in drawing is VERY sporadic now that I have swiss cheese memory issues .. some days are much better than others .. but never can I count on my artwork being “realistic” or in a form that others *might* recognize or like for the chosen word topic.

Thus .. this morning .. I found 🙂

The 100 Day Project

I know nothing about any of these art websites or the artists .. but I chose them because they all appeal to me in different ways 🙂 .. I suspect all of them will keep my art practice fun for me .. which is my intention and my need! Art is therapy and a positive force for growth in my life!

The program I am using for learning to create fractals is Jux – I am using the free version right now. I HOPE to someday grow into being able to use their XenoDream software 🙂 Hope springs eternal!
