NW – Plum Stormsurge

Plum-Control Wizard

I wrote this history for my control wizard: Plum Stormsurge 🙂 .. Her race is Dwarf .. tho I considered whether to change it to elf recently [February 2018] .. decided I like her .. and her history .. just as she is .. so Dwarf she remains 🙂 .. everyone in my guild calls me Plum .. I have lots of fun playing her but she is still VERY UNDER-GEARED .. toons are always a work in progress 🙂 .. I used to play her as my main toon but the demand is real for support toons like my DC [Devoted Cleric] thus Plum Heals was born and gets the most attention for upgrades.

The StormGuard are the FarDelvers of Clan Hammerstone. Bardrik and Moira Stormsurge grew up together mapping The Underdark .. they well knew the dangers when they chose to marry and quicken with their daughter Plum but like most pragmatic dwarves .. they expected their fellow StormGuardians to raise her if something happened to them.

The Stormsurge dwarves were always the first to enter new mapping zones .. thus when Grund Orc Breath attacked and killed Bardrik and Moira .. the orphan babe Plum was shuttled from one Stormguardian to another for her education and upbringing in the wilds of The Underdark.

Plum was particularly fascinated by the lighthearted Pixies with their singing, dancing and cheerful demeanor in the face of certain death and the Drow with their scruples of treachery.

Not having parents of her own to love her gave Plum an insight into other races that the Guardians lacked but found incredibly useful in their work.

In campfire stories woven by Bards, Plum became known as Plum the Pixie Dwarf for her rare gift to make friends in low places as well as on high.
