My Oracle of Visions Card for Today with my Coffee

Reading Tarot & Oracle Cards are not quite exactly today what they were when I first started reading cards some 60+ years ago .. yes I do still have physical decks to shuffle and read 🙂 .. but .. I also bought some cell phone apps too. I have an Android smartphone .. one app I have is Oracle of Visions – the app is created by The Fool’s Dog – available at Google Play App Store – below in quotes is the text from the book that I emailed to myself.

I ALSO bought the actual physical deck 🙂 .. created and illustrated by Ciro Marchetti .. [his work is gorgeous] so I can easily pull the card out and use it to meditate with during my day 🙂 .. the text from the app book is the same as the text in my physical book.

As many know, I have memory issues so for me being able to read the book text even on the go on my phone is awesome .. I never just .. go with the book text .. I always correlate the meaning to me and my life and how it fits into what I need to learn or practice.

Today’s card is really easy to decipher 🙂  – I need to work towards my short term and long term goals to make them happen 🙂  .. magic is usually 99% effort & sweat .. lol .. so here I am sharing my magic secrets with you! I find the Today’s Card in my apps a very handy tool to set my intentions for the day 🙂 .. the journal feature is awesome too 🙂

Today’s Card: 42 • Ambition – Goals, Inspiration

If you want to make your dreams come true, the first thing you have to do is wake up. ~J.M. Power

Setting a target, a goal, something to strive for, a purpose. Motivated by need or ambition, we now have something to aim for. Success in our chosen field.

A young performer lays on the floor in an almost fetal position, possibly exhausted or at the point of giving up. Despite the constant effort and training repetition she has put into her endeavors so far, she is once again questioning herself. Can she, will she ever make it, ever be good enough? Despair, doubt and frustration clouds her progress. Possibly her efforts are hampered still further by other limitations, physical or mental, possibly outside factors. Other commitments distract her or compete for her time.

It’s easy enough to dream and establish goals. The question now is whether that dream is or ever was realistically achievable, or a distracting oasis that will simply torment us but never be reached.

Presented by Oracle of Visions app from The Fool’s Dog.”
